Dear Star Trek Friendship Fest Writer,
Jul. 20th, 2014 01:34 am So first of all, I'd just like to say: whatever you choose to write, I'm gonna be super happy with it. Even out of the friendships I asked for, I don't have any real preference to which one(s?) you choose to write for. This is my first Star Trek fanfic exchange; all the ones I've done in the past have been for Homestuck, and I am definitely excited to see what you come up with.
As I mentioned in my request blurb, I was basically introduced to Star Trek through the AOS, and I asked for friendships that include characters that are in both TOS and AOS. I am definitely fond of their AOS incarnations, but I understand if the reboot 'verse is not your thing; feel absolutely free to write TOS.
Now, here's some totally optional stuff for you to build off of if you're not sure where to start: I like fluff, and hurt/comfort. I like all sorts of AUs. I'm not super into angst, but drama is totally cool. If you do decide to go for AOS: you can set the fic during academy-era, during the travels of the Enterprise, or even during either movie!
Need further inspiration? Add cybernetic enhancements.
But like I said, all of this is optional. You write what you are inspired to write, friend.
