I quite enjoy the game genre of "eclectic cast of characters are trapped in a location and forced into a death game," and Danganronpa delivers wonderfully.
Solo: Ultimate Impostor
(Note: Either they/them or he/him pronouns for Impostor are fine with me. Also, I understand it's officially "Imposter"; I'm fine with either spelling, I just prefer "Impostor" when I'm writing.)
Ultimate Impostor has always intrigued me. Their Ultimate talent is fascinating, and so is its impact on Impostor's (lack of) identity. They clearly care a lot about their classmates, and I've always thought it was a shame they died so early in DR2. I'd love to see a DR2 AU where they didn't die so early; how would they handle the subsequent murders?
Or you could look at their childhood: how did they develop their talent to Ultimate level, and what happened to them that spurred them to do so? What identities have they taken on over the years? Their adventures at Hope's Peak (either in a no-despair AU, or their school days before despair) would be fun. Or, what all did they get up to as part as Ultimate Despair?
I especially like their friendships with Hinata, Ibuki, and Mitarai; feel free to ship Impostor with any of them if you like. Gen/friendship fic or solo character studies are also more than welcome.
Momota Kaito/Ouma Kokichi
God, I love Oumota. V3 Chapter 5 just really, really sold me on this ship. Their outlooks are completely opposed - blind faith versus extreme distrust and paranoia - but when they actually work together, holy shit. Like, damn, look at what they nearly accomplished! So, anything about them managing to pull their heads out of their asses and work together would be great. I also like stuff with Ouma wearing Momota's jacket, and Momota being weirdly talented at imitating Ouma (because sure, he had a book of instructions, but just how detailed was it? Also, he said he had fun pretending to be Ouma, if I recall correctly.)
Chapter 5 AUs where they both survive and/or things go differently are always fun. I also love time loop/time travel, and I can hardly think of a character worse-suited to being a time looper than Momota, it would be delightful.
Or for something more lighthearted, what kind of shenanigans/rivalry might these two get up to in a Talent Development Plan AU or any other AU where the V3 kids actually attend Hope's Peak?

The Magnus Archives
The Magnus Archives is my newest fandom, and I love its worldbuilding and especially its exploration of what makes someone a monster.
Solo: Michael | The Distortion
Michael fascinates me. A monster with identity/sanity problems, with a tragic history as an archival assistant? Sign me up!
I like the idea that Michael has a soft spot for the assistants because of his own history as an assistant; something about him interacting with and/or saving one or more of them would be fun! Michael surviving his canon death (either it being averted entirely, or Helen becoming the Distortion doesn't fully kill Michael) would be interesting; I wonder what kind of trouble he might get up to afterwards.
What if Michael became the Distortion and then... kept going in to work at the Magnus Institute, because (1) it's not like he actually quit or was fired, (2) it'd be really funny.
Or, time travel is catnip for this fandom; what if Michael was the one travelling back? Either to the beginning of S1, or back to when he had just become the Distortion, or to his time as an archival assistant? Either the "send memories back in time" or the "physically travel" options would be interesting; for the latter, how would Michael Shelley react to Michael the Distortion?
Michael | The Distortion/Jonathan "Jon" Sims | The Archivist
I love Michael and Jon's interactions. (Even the stabby ones.) I'd be interested in seeing a Michael who, despite his grudge against the Archivist, finds himself procrastinating on actually killing Jon: because he's grown fond of him, because he's fun to mess with, whichever. On Jon's part, I'd like to see him reluctantly fascinated, despite knowing that Michael is a monster who has harmed him before and may well kill him.
An AU where Michael didn't die where he did in canon could be interesting (either because Helen's usurpation was averted or Michael wasn't killed, just changed, by Helen becoming the Distortion.) How would Michael's approach towards Jon change? With less and less friends, how might Jon react to him?
Or, entityswap AU: Spiral Jon and Beholding Michael.
Gerard Keay & Jonathan "Jon" Sims | The Archivist
I am very much *heart eyes* for Gerry, and I really enjoyed his interactions with Jon. I'd love to see them get to be actually friends! Maybe ghost Gerry sees how pathetic Jon is and decides to stick around a while longer to help out. Or maybe an AU where Gerry doesn't develop brain cancer (or they catch it early enough to save him) and he meets S1 Jon?
Or Gerry and Jon could meet earlier: while Jon is in university, maybe? Gerry could (reluctantly) teach Jon about the Fears... or alternatively, he could try to keep Jon out of it, only to be called up one day like "Hello Gerry, I'm the Head Archivist at the Magnus Institute now, and I just read this very interesting statement about you..." Or, them meeting as kids would be cute - kid Jon and Gerry would be adorable friends!

Zero Escape
Zero Escape has so many of my favorite tropes -- telepathy, time travel, alternate universes, among others -- so I suppose it's only natural that I've fallen in love with this series. And of course, anything that plays with those favorite tropes would be lovely!
Solo: Light Field
Ever since I first played 999, I've been ever so taken with Light. He's very charming, a tad condescending, and so, so protective of & devoted to Clover.
As you might be able to imagine, I was sad that Light appeared in neither VLR nor ZTD. What might have happened in VLR if Light was present? Either as a person preserved in cold sleep (like Clover), or an older Light (like Tenmyouji). Similarly, how might ZTD have gone down if one of the players was swapped out for Light? (Consider: a C-team consisting of Carlos, Light, and Junpei. Snarking ensues. Maybe romance also ensues??)
Or perhaps something set outside of a Nonary Game. Light putting his and Clover's lives back together after the events of 999; Light becoming an accomplished harpist (perhaps other ZE character(s) hear him play?) Maybe Light is approached by Crash Keys for help, after ZTD?
Light Field/Tenmyouji Junpei
I love Light's gentle teasing of Junpei in canon, and it'd be great to see that develop into something more. I'd love to see Junpei get close to Light after the events of 999. I'd also be interested in seeing them forge a morphogenetic bond, whether intentionally or unintentionally. (Love surprise-telepathy!) Light being Junpei's partner in his detective work would also be quite fun.
As with my Solo: Light Field prompts, it could also be interesting to see what might have happened if Light was in VLR or ZTD, and how Junpei might react to that. Time travel and time loops and alternate timelines are all very tasty, as well.
