question meme (stolen from several people, but the journal i most recently saw this on was wanderingnork !)

How old are you? 22. 

 

Tattoos? none -- i definitely want to have some someday, though! i've just been stuck for the past several years on what i should get for my first tattoo. see, i have several ideas for big tattoos, but i'm aware that it's not all that feasible to start with like, a large back piece or whatever, especially since i don't know my pain tolerance or anything. so i want to start with something small, and... i've been stuck on that step ever since. i've had a few ideas recently, though.

 

Ever hit a deer? nope -- i don't even have my driver's license yet. (though i'm going to be practicing more this semester!)

 

Ridden in an ambulance? nope!

 

Sang karaoke? yes, but only at like, a school club event, not at an actual karaoke place or anything.

 

Ice skated? nope!

 

Ridden a motorcycle? no.

 

Stayed in hospital? no, thankfully!

 

Skipped school? maybe in my first year of college when i had Big Depression? but honestly, even then i usually dragged myself to class, even if then once i was there i only zoned out or read fanfiction on my phone. 

 

Last phone call? does leaving a message count? if so, i left a message on my senator's voicemail last week telling him to end the frickin shutdown.
 

Last text from? my mom telling me she'd pick me up from the train station.

 

Watched someone die? WOW this is a mood whiplash from the last question. and no, i have not.

 

Pepsi or coke? nope, absolutely not. (to me, all carbonated drinks taste like acid and burning, so you could not pay me to drink either of these.)

 

Favorite pie? pumpkin pie!! i love pumpkin pie omg

 

Favorite pizza? either hawaiian, or something with lots of meat.

 

Favorite season? gotta be fall! the weather's great, halloween's my favorite holiday, and my birthday's in that season, too. 

 

Broken bones? none!

 

Received a ticket? like i said, still working on my license, so no.

 

Favorite color? indigo!

 

Sunset or sunrise? sunset! it makes the clouds look so pretty. also, if i'm seeing the sunrise, it usually means i've been dumb and haven't been to bed, so... yeah.

Oh man, pumpkin pie...the place I used to work at would semi-frequently get pumpkin pie in our produce donations and those were the greatest days. I'm still sad it's not really a thing in the UK, although I suppose I could always make my own!

my family's favored and only pizza parlor when i was a kid made Hawaiian pizza with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cashews. the cashews were the perfect nutty, crunchy counterpoint to the salty Canadian bacon and sweet, mushy pineapple. it took me years to realize that cashews were not a standard Hawaiian pizza ingredient, but i maintain that they should be.

dang, idk if i’ve ever had hawaiian pizzas with cashews, and i normally wouldn’t be interested in nuts on my pizzas, but now i’m intrigued...

Yeah, Fall is definitely a good season. Summer and winter have become to EXTREME where I live and it is hard to go out and do anything, but Spring and Fall, lovely.

yeah, i have a pretty low tolerance for even (objectively) semi-cold temperatures, so i’m not a fan of going out in winter. but i also live in texas, so summer is quite hot. fall and spring are the lovely in-betweens.
