to sleep or to postpone sleep
Dec. 13th, 2018 12:37 amugh. staring down the barrel of either 'study first, sleep later/never,' or 'sleep first, study in the morning.'
it's a tough call, because sometimes the second one is just a lie i tell myself because i want to sleep. but the good thing is that it's not quite 1am, so i could sleep for a full 8 hours and then have 4 hours to study before class.
this is probably gonna mean i'm not gonna get that much japanese studying done, but that's fine. that's the class i'm less worried about, anyways. but for anthropology i have 3 quizzes worth 10 points each, and then the final is worth 130 points. if i ace all 3 quizzes, i actually have a shot at an A... if i get 122 or more points on the final. i'm not going to get super fussed over it, though. i missed an assignment worth 75pts a week or two ago, aware that it would most likely put me in B territory. still, at the very least this means i'm safely in B territory; i'd have to absolutely bomb the final to be stuck with a C, and an A is technically within reach.
& i'd be satisfied with a B, anyways.
i guess the question is whether my tiredness/distractability makes me less productive now, or my potential risk of unable-to-drag-self-out-of-bed will make me less productive in the morning.
but i think i've already made my choice, risky as it may be. i only got 3 hours of sleep last night, which of course does not help my rational decision making. :P)
anyhow, tasks for the morning:
