sedoretuex! Thanks in advance for writing for me. I hope one or more of these prompts inspires you, but optional details are optional and the freeform tags are kind of prompts in and of themselves; feel free to ignore the prompts or only use part of them if a different idea strikes you!

All requests are for fic.

Most of these prompts are written with the standard two Evening + two Morning sedoretu arrangement in mind, and with each moiety having one man and one woman (save for ships of only one gender), but I am definitely open to unconventional sedoretu setups!

Also, feel free to disregard the potential moiety setups I mention in my prompts if a different setup calls to you!

Draco Malfoy/Pansy Parkinson/Harriet Potter | Rigel Black/Blaise Zabini
I'm interested by the additional complications that sedoretu courtship would bring to the Wizarding World — especially given the existing problems with the Fade complicating courtship for purebloods.

I also imagine (though you, of course, may choose otherwise) that Lily, James, Sirius, and Diana would be a sedoretu in this universe, with Lily and Sirius being of one moiety and James and Diana being the other. This would naturally make Harry and Archie of opposite moieties — adding an additional wrinkle to the identity swap! And additional awkwardness to any attempted courtship of her in her Rigel guise.

For instance: perhaps Draco and Pansy are looking for another two to complete their sedoretu. Draco falls for Rigel, who he thinks is the opposite moiety, but Rigel awkwardly rebuffs him. Meanwhile Pansy is intrigued by Harry, and wonders if she might be a suitable addition. Then Rigel disappears, and Blaise is just as invested in finding him as Draco and Pansy...

Of course, that's just one possible arrangement; there are many interesting possibilities!

The Scum Villain's Self Saving System

One of the interesting possibilities presented by this fandom is that sedoretus could be a thing in the PIDW universe but not in the universe Shen Yuan & Shang Qinghua came from. Maybe Airplane shamelessly stole them from LeGuin and worked them into the worldbuilding somehow, and now he and Shen Yuan have to live with the consequences...

For both of the ships that include both Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan, I'd be interested in just about any way you want to handle them both existing (twins, brothers, completely unrelated, bodysharing, etc.)

Liu Qingge/Luo Binghe/Shen Jiu/Shen Yuan
Just about any configuration here would be interesting to me (though I do lean towards Bingqiu being one of the marriages.) I'd love to see Shen Yuan's bafflement at both having to live in a sedoretu society in general (if he's from a universe where they're not a thing) and at having multiple people want to marry him in particular (a confusion Shen Jiu might share, deep down.)

Liu Qingge/Shen Jiu/Shen Yuan/Yue Qingyuan
I'm definitely imagining Qijiu as one of the marriages involved here, but there are multiple potentially appealing configurations! I'd love to see Shen Yuan, once he catches wind of the Qijiu drama, encouraging them to communicate and reconnect, not realizing that he was attracting their attention while doing so, and Liu Qingge's as well, somewhere along the way.

Luo Binghe/Mobei-jun/Shang Qinghua/Shen Yuan
This one has several interesting potential configurations, including [LBH, SQH] x [SY, MBJ] (with brackets denoting moieties) or [LBH, MBJ] x [SY, SQH]. In any case, I'd love to see our transmigrators have to navigate a very confusing courtship — confusing both in the sense that sedoretus don't come naturally to them (if they weren't a thing in their home universe) and in the sense that demonic courtship may be different and weird. Do demons do sedoretus, or is that something Luo Binghe and Mobei-jun are only doing because it's the human custom? (Which would be extra hilarious if it wasn't a thing in the transmigrators' home universe, because then no one would know what they were doing...)

A Song of Ice and Fire

Cersei Lannister/Jaime Lannister/Catelyn Tully/Ned Stark
I'm very interested by the additional complications of sedoretus within a feudal society where arranged marriages are common, at least in high society. Do all members of the sedoretu enter the House of one member (perhaps the highest ranking)? How does inheritance work? Lots of worldbuilding potential with this one!

What amuses me about this particular pairing is that as twins, Cersei and Jaime must be of the same moiety, so if this is a "proper" marriage, Ned and Cat must be of the other — thus creating the opportunity for intra-moiety incest on top of the twincest. Just an option, of course! But I would definitely be interested in Cersei and Jaime's attitude towards the marriage — satisfaction in being part of the same marriage, but anger that their relationship is taboo — as well as Cat and Ned's feelings towards the Lannisters and each other (whether platonic or not).

Padmé Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker/Asajj Ventress
I deeply appreciate the mad genius who nominated this. I'm most interested in a [Padme, Obi-Wan] x [Anakin, Asajj] configuration (with brackets denoting each moiety), but write whatever your heart dreams of. I just imagine that Anakin has wanted to marry Padme since he was 19, and realizes he also wants to marry Obi-Wan, but is deeply aggravated by the fact that the person who keeps flirting with Obi-Wan and Padme, who might complete their marriage (if he can get Obi-Wan to agree to get married at all), is freaking Asajj Ventress.

Eleven | Jane Hopper/Maxine "Max" Mayfield/Lucas Sinclair/Mike Wheeler
This makes so much sense, I wish it could be canon. (I'm imagining Mike & Max as Evening and Lucas & El as Morning, but of course that's only one possibility.) I'd love to see El learning about sedoretus and learning to navigate romance, especially once she and Max warm up to each other. I'm also interested in Mike and Max learning to tolerate each other for the sake of El and Lucas. What do their group dates look like? Or for extra angst, how hard do the other three take El moving away, and what is their reunion like after season 4?

Robin Buckley/Jonathan Byers/Steve Harrington/Nancy Wheeler
I would prefer Robin's relationships with Steve and Jonathan remain platonic, whatever the moiety configuration ends up being. This would result in one extra platonic relationship than in a normal sedoretu.

I am very interested in how sedoretu moieties would change the dynamics involved here. Whichever way you swing it, if this sedoretu consists of two Mornings and two Evenings as is standard, Nancy can't be into both Steve and Jonathan without moiety-incest being involved, which would be interesting! For instance, if Nancy and Jonathan are the same moiety, that would add even more drama in their attraction. Lots of interesting possibilities here and I am definitely open to unconventional sedoretus!
