school vents

graveexcitementthat feel when i'm desperate for stimulation, and desperate to be distracted by anything that lets me avoid thinking about the overdue assignments hanging over my head, but i already told myself i can't tumblr/twitter, so i open a new tab and then mentally cringe away from clicking tumblr and then my brain just whines
so ya i'm having a totally well-adjusted and normal reaction to school 👍 i'm not fighting off a breakdown at all
i just need to get through the next 2.5 weeks and then i'm home free. i can play disco elysium. i can play inscryption (which my brother has been bugging me about, and given our extremely large overlap of viddy game tastes, i'm sure i'll like it). i can replay zero escape. just 2.5 more weeks.
until then, though, i want to cry about my assignments, and putting said assignments off is only exacerbating it, so there will be no time when i don't want to cry about it, until some point during either the [process of doing the thing] or, at the very least, when it's done. but for now my brain is in whining/want-to-cry mode.
hope y'all are faring well in these times, especially if it is also near the end of the semester for you
