TKA fandom is the greatest gift/surprise of last year for me, so yeah I agree there. :) Fortunately, everyone is also really nice about if you haven't consumed all of the canon? Or have only consumed one of the adaptations (which cover so much less ground than the novel). So it's open to play in whenever you feel comfortable doing so, really. <3
Yeah, the love triangles were a bit :/ , but I love how they grow the characters throughout the whole show and move through/beyond the love triangle stuff.
I think how easy getting on T is depends on the area you're in and how chill doctors are about trans things? Like, for me the main challenge was actually COVID-19 hitting right when I would've been going to meet the doctor who could've given me the prescription. Everything else went pretty smoothly. So: I hope that—if you decide to go that route—it goes smoothly for you! (And that you have informed-consent doctors who don't try and make you present therapist notes about why you need it, and stuff like that.)
