Reading this post makes me SO EXCITED because you're in for such a delight when you figure out the answer to "who killed Mira", I'm just laughing. (None of this is a hint, I'm just looking forward to you posting when you have the answer.)
I completely forgot the Door of Truth bit, but I do remember the game will give you more hints towards it so much so that it'll be blindingly obvious when you do have the answer.
Force Quit is much, much, much later. Again, it'll be blindingly obvious when you do have the answers to it.
FWIW, I also loathed the reactor room and it's normal for that puzzle to take that long. It's just that annoying. XD I also remember it as being one of the last puzzles I had to do, due to the order I played the branches in, and it was 8 am by that point and I'd stayed up all night and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.
You're making me want to give ZTD a replay, even though it was my least fave of the series. :D
