Hi! I'm Grave (ao3 user graveexcitement). I adore time travel/time loop tropes, so I'm stoked about this exchange. Thanks in advance for writing for me. I hope one or more of these prompts inspires you, but optional details are optional and the freeform tags are kind of prompts in and of themselves; feel free to ignore the prompts or only use part of them if a different idea strikes you!

All requests are for fanfiction. For the freeform tags, I tried to pick some of my fave time travel tropes/scenarios that I thought would mesh well with the fandoms/characters in question, but if one of the freeform tags I picked in one fandom calls to you for a different fandom, go for it!

General notes on this canon: I personally tend towards referring to the characters by last name and spelling Imposter "Impostor," but I won't be put off if you prefer otherwise. I'm fine with either he/him or they/them pronouns for Impostor.

Either time travel/time loops within the games or travelling back to the pre-Despair era would be interesting! Ideas:

-Any of the requested characters, stuck in a time loop of the game they star in.
-Outsider POV of any requested character who is suddenly behaving very strangely (because they're a time traveler or are time looping.)
-Togami mentally time travels and replaces his past self, pre-Despair. However, averting the events that led to Despair is problematic, seeing as he doesn't remember his high school days at all.
-Togami mentally or physically time travels and doesn't replace his past self — either it's physical travel, or it's mental and he can only advise or is sharing a body with his past self. And his past self is a jackass (even more than usual!)
-The Future Foundation invents a time machine, and uses it to avert Despair by sending back Naegi, Kirigiri, and Togami. The problem is, Junko Enoshima isn't satisfied with the new timeline, and invents her own time machine to change it anew. So begins a war of time travel between Hope and Despair...
-Impostor is stuck in a time loop of the first case of DR2, trying desperately to make sure no one gets killed.
-Impostor time travels to the past for the chance to save their classmates from ever falling into despair.
-Hoshi thought he was ready to die, but he wakes up in a time loop that resets every time he dies.
-Hoshi wakes up at the beginning of the game. Everyone else appears unaware; everyone but Ouma, who's acting strangely.
-Ouma is stuck in a time loop. That much, he'd be able to work with; unfortunately, someone else is also looping, and it's Momota.

Notes on this canon: The requested characters are all solo, but I'm open to ships, background or otherwise. I especially like Jon/Michael, Jon/Elias, Jon/Gerry, Gerry/Michael, and Jon/Gerry/Michael; I also like Jon/Martin, Jon/Tim, Jon/Tim/Martin, and Jon/Martin/Gerry. Gen also very much welcome!

TMA is ripe for time travel, and I love it! Some ideas:

-Outsider POV of any requested character who is suddenly behaving very strangely (because they're a time traveler or are time looping.)
-Jon travels back in time to prevent the apocalypse. So do several other Jons. There are now a plethora of Archivists running around, trying to prevent the apocalypse.
-Jon travels back in time; unfortunately, so does Elias.
-Jon and Elias are stuck in a time loop together.
-Michael travels back in time. What better opportunity could there be to troll and prank the Archives?
-Michael finds itself stuck in a time loop, and reluctantly turns to Jon for help.
-Jon travels back in time to prevent the apocalypse, but winds up rather further back than he intended. (Could be during Gertrude's tenure as Archivist, or even further back?).
-Jon is stuck in a Groundhog Peggy Sue loop, reliving his tenure as the Archivist until he can get it right.
-Michael mentally travels back in time, but is stuck sharing a body with its past self, Michael Shelley.

Zero Escape has a lot of delicious time travel — I'd love some more of it, whether via one of the canon methods of time travel or something new! Some ideas:

-Light and Junpei are trapped in a time loop together.
-Light develops SHIFTing/time travel abilities.
-Crash Keys isn't the only one using SHIFTing/time travel to alter the timeline; another party (possibly Delta, possibly someone else) is doing the same thing.
-Carlos is having trouble controlling his SHIFTing ability, and keeps spontaneously time travelling.
-The spacetime machine in ZTD malfunctions, and spits Carlos out somewhere unexpected.
-Something's gone wrong in the timeline; Akane creates up a time loop so that she and Carlos and Junpei can troubleshoot it.
-Akane and Carlos and Junpei are stuck in a time loop together, but something's gone wrong; with every iteration of the loop, other characters and events are deleted.
-Kyle travels back in time to 2027 and pretends to be Sigma.
-Kyle travels back in time and runs into present-day Sigma; Kyle pretends to be a future Sigma, just to fuck with him.
