oh, headphones are for sure a must. and losing the beat def throws you off your groove. (there’s at least one item and some characters that encourage you to keep the beat — because the item breaks, or you die, when you miss a beat — but i tend to ignore those items/characters because i am pretty good at keeping the beat but i am not perfect.)
