[grabby hands] wanna play gaem

so... i am very definitely hooked on Hollow Knight now! definitely loving it. the only problem is that i can only play it while my brother's available, because he's the one who got me into it and he likes to watch my reactions to things (even if my platforming sometimes "causes him physical pain.")

but my brother's 15, so my mom expects him to go to bed by like, 22:00 if not earlier. and he also has school troubles: a combination of procrastination and being sick a lot (and thus missing class & assignments.) so today and yesterday, he was home sick but there was a lot of her pressuring/nagging him to get work done instead of chatting with me/watching me play (or like... resting.) basically...

things i want to do:

  1. play hollow knight
  2. ???

things i can do rn:

  1. not that
  2. :(

today i explored Crystal Peak and the Resting Grounds. funnily enough i actually found the Resting Grounds after like only a few minutes in Crystal Peak, which my brother said he was not expecting. the thing with the Dreamers is Curious. Very Curious.

other notes:

  • i'm not sure what Quirrel's deal is but i am beginning to suspect... something.
  • i found a MIMIC GRUB today and it is NOT OKAY!!! HOW COULD IT DO THIS TO ME?? I AM BETRAYED!!
  • (i love the grubs... they are my babies. i want to rescue them all. babies.)
  • i unlocked the Super Dash or whatever today, which unlocks quite a few things i can explore now! which is... part of why i was sad that my brother had to go to sleep (a few hours ago, obviously, since it's a school night.)

in conclusion my brother's school needs to close for winter already (it won't for like another week :p)
